Nothing but the best for your horse! This Mohair Dressage Girth is made of the highest quality 100% mohair and handwoven onto stainless steel roller buckles to accommodate your 1" or 1.5" billet straps. The soft natural mohair strings allow your horse to move with ease and prevent galling.

Designed with the best quality buckle protectors available - these solid protectors are made of shock absorbing neoprene sewn together with soft leather. The neoprene is on the buckle side and the soft leather is against the horse. This design will not bunch up like others can.

Our Stillwater brand girths are 100% mohair. Some "mohair" girths you will find are actually a mohair blend - they will be lighter in color versus the natural mohair color shown here.

Roller buckles and center D-rings are all quality stainless steel hardware. Two rows of quality billet keepers. Buckles are just slightly larger width than the size specified, so the 1" version will actually have a 1 1/16" opening for ease of use.

Did you know?... A girth is for English saddles and a cinch is for western saddles. Dressage girths are designed for saddles that have English billets that come below the flap of the saddle, so on a dressage girth material extends beyond the buckles to protect the horse from pinching of the buckles, hair rub, etc.
