The Deluxe Endurance Halter Bridle Combination by Zilco uniquely offers a separate headstall and halter which fasten together at the browband with snaps. These two-part bridles provide a quick removal of the headstall while leaving the halter portion on your horse. The snaps on the browband make it easy! Zilco is a world leader in the design and production of synthetic tack products. Zilco's patented materials are a combination of elastomeric polymers and coated over nylon webbing. Not biothane belting, Zilco's material is supple but amazingly strong. The result is a beautiful product with the best modern materials that is comfortable on your horse's skin. This low-maintenance material is completely washable; simply soak in a soapy bucket of water, hose off, and wipe dry.

Comes in two very adjustable sizes ~ The Standard size is appropriate for Arabians, and average horse heads. The Oversize works well for larger horse heads, Drafts, Warmbloods, etc. Please see measurements below to be sure. To adjust the size down, you may cut off the excess material, and heat seal the ends of the straps.

"Standard" Size Measurements: 17-inch browband; Bit-hanger end to bit-hanger end (across poll) smallest setting is 30 inches, largest setting is 42 inches; Throat latch smallest setting is 26 inches around, largest setting is 49 inches around; Around the nose smallest setting is 22 inches, largest setting is 30 inches. (More holes may be punched to adjust size smaller on the entire bridle.)

"Oversize" Measurements: 18.25-inch browband; Bit-hanger end to bit-hanger end (across poll) smallest setting is 30 inches, largest setting is 46 inches; Throat latch smallest setting is 33 inches around, largest setting is 53 inches around; Around the nose smallest setting is 24 inches, largest setting is 34 inches. (More holes may be punched to adjust size smaller on the entire bridle.)

Tip: Can't decide between the virtues of the Zilco Deluxe and the Zilco Marathon Halter/Bridle styles? If your horse is excitable and difficult to bit-up on the trail, opt for the Deluxe. If you want the most simple, streamline design, opt for the Marathon.

Different monitors affect color output, but we have tried to give a very accurate depiction of Zilco's colors in the color image above; Red being a bright hue, Green being a lighter but vibrant hue, and "Burgundy" better resembling a muted shade of raspberry.
