In 2006 the Easyboot Epic was named "The Horse Journal's" Product of The Year! The Epic features the classic Easyboot design with an attached Gaiter, providing extra protection to the hoof as well as keeping excess dirt and debris from getting into the boots. The soft gaiter also keeps the boot secure during extreme conditions such as mud, snow, and water crossings.

Use & Longevity
Using Easyboots for horses is a natural way to provide hoof protection, traction, treatment, cushioning and correction while allowing the horse to go barefoot at all other times. They fit snugly to the hoof, are lighter and last many times longer than standard steel plates. You can easily get 500-800 miles with these Easyboot Epics, depending on your horse's weight.

History
Easyboots have been the industry’s leading horse boot for the last thirty years. During this time period, Easy Boots have been used to win endurance races, complete mounted treks from 2,000-18,000 miles in length, provide traction to mounted police units, treat many hoof problems and ride a horse home after a lost shoe. Although the horse riding boot concept has continued to improve each year, in 2005 several enhancements were introduced to the Easyboot and the Easyboot Epic which incorporate testing and feedback from horsemen all over the world. As of 2005, all Easyboots and Easyboot Epics have 20% more tread! And as of 2007, all Easyboot Epics are made without the inner metal cleat, implementing instead a new low-profile comfort strap and improved cast buckle system.
